Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the role of parents in the development of deaf children. Researchers are very interested in researching the role of parents in the development of deaf children because this research is still rarely carried out by some researchers, and it is hoped that this research can be a reference for parents in paying attention to the development of a deaf child. This research was conducted using a literature review research method by collecting relevant data by searching on the internet and studying the literature. The data collected in this research comes from the latest journals and books. Parents as a child's first environment have a huge impact on a child's development. The quality of the relationship that parents give to their children can determine the quality of the child's personality and morals. So, parents or families must be able to provide support and teaching so that the development of deaf children can proceed according to their developmental age. This research was conducted to provide information for parents in guiding deaf children so that their development can be maximized.
