Abstract

This study focuses on the implementation of a mosque-based community development program at Al Ikhlas Mosque in Kelurahan Babatan, Sukaraja District, Seluma. The primary issue addressed is the low community engagement in social, religious, and educational activities, which hinders the overall development of the community. The objective of this research is to enhance community participation through a series of structured programs that integrate religious teachings with social and educational initiatives. The method employed involves a descriptive approach, with data collected through direct observation and interviews with the community members involved in the mosque’s activities. The findings indicate a significant increase in community involvement, particularly in religious education for children, social services, and environmental cleanliness. This suggests that mosque-based programs can effectively address community needs and foster a more cohesive social environment.
