Authorship Criteria
PIJED adheres to internationally recognized principles of responsible authorship to ensure accountability, transparency, and integrity in scholarly publications.
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial intellectual contributions to the research and manuscript preparation. Authors are expected to satisfy the following criteria:
- Make significant contributions to the research conception, design, data collection, analysis, or interpretation.
- Participate in drafting the manuscript or critically revising its intellectual content.
- Approve the final version of the manuscript before publication.
- Accept responsibility for the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of their contributions and cooperate in resolving questions about the work.
Individuals who contribute to the research but do not meet the authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately.
The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the editorial office, ensuring that all co-authors approve the submission, and coordinating responses throughout the editorial and publication processes.
Any changes to authorship after submission must be justified and approved in writing by all affected authors. The editorial team reserves the right to request clarification or supporting documentation concerning authorship contributions.
Guest authorship, honorary authorship, ghost authorship, and other inappropriate authorship practices are strictly prohibited.
