Needs Analysis, Physical Activity, Traditional GamesAbstract
This study aims to analyze the needs of grade V students of SDN 2 Bengkulu towards the development of physical activity through traditional games. The study used a quantitative descriptive method with a survey approach, involving 60 students as respondents. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using a percentage formula. The results showed that students had a high interest in physical activity (86.7%), but involvement in traditional games was still low (35%). The main obstacles faced by students in carrying out physical activities are the high use of gadgets (66.7%) and limited play facilities in the home environment. Nevertheless, the majority of students (81.7%) expect PJOK learning to use traditional games and want to move more during lessons. These findings show that traditional games have great potential to be developed as a fun, active, and contextual PJOK learning medium.
