Pengaruh Media Komik Digital Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas V Pada Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SD Negeri 68 Palembang

This study aims to investigate the effect of digital comic media on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in Indonesian language learning at SD Negeri 68 Palembang. A true experimental design with a posttest-only control group was used. The sample consisted of 40 students selected through random sampling, divided equally into experimental and control groups. The experimental group was taught using digital comics, while the control group used conventional methods. Data collection was carried out using a multiple-choice test instrument. The results were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality and homogeneity tests, and an independent sample t-test. Findings revealed a significant difference in the posttest scores between the two groups, with a t-value of 7.229 and a significance eve of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating that the use of digital comics had a positive and significant impact on students’ learning outcomes. The visual and narrative features of digital comics enhanced students’ motivation, engagement, and understanding of the material. Therefore, digital comics can be recommended as an effective alternative instructional media to improve students’ academic performance, especially in primary school language learning.
