Abstract

The need for education always grows along with advances in technology, culture and society. Public education aims to form the character and civilization of a nation that is intelligent, confident, innovative, independent, democratic and responsible. The aim of this research is to produce the development of flipbook-based digital media in science and science subjects regarding plants, the source of life on earth for grade 4 elementary school students that is valid, practical and effective. This research uses the development method (R&D). By using the ADDIE development model, analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the research regarding the assessment of media experts in terms of design aspects of flipbook products and learning media programs got an average of 42 with a percentage of 84% (very valid), the assessment of material experts in terms of curriculum and material aspects got an average of 44 with a percentage of 88% (very valid). valid), the linguist's assessment in terms of language appropriateness aspects got an average of 40 with a percentage of 80% (valid). Based on the results of questionnaire research, student responses obtained an average of 43.10 with a percentage of 86.21% getting the criteria (very practical) and the results of trials on the effectiveness of flipbook-based daring learning media (environmental awareness) which were carried out through distributing practice questions with class student respondents. IV A SD Negeri 25 Palembang. Based on the results of the practice questions, students obtained a total average score of 84.64 to get the criteria (very effective).
